Spencer Weir-Daley says he wants to sink Redditch United for the third time.

Boston United have been handed a home draw against the Reds in the first round of FA Trophy, which will take place on November 16.

And with £4,000 in prize money up for grabs, the Pilgrims striker wants to continue his scoring streak against the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division side.

Boston and Redditch were last league rivals during the 2010-11 Conference North campaign, when Weir-Daley netted in both a 9-0 away success and a 1-0 victory at York Street.

“I always want to score in every game I play in, but it would be nice to get another one against Redditch,” he told The Standard. “That 9-0 win was a crazy game, I didn’t see that coming.

“We’d just been promoted into the league and we were a confident team.

“The win at home was completely different, but it always feels good to score a winning goal.”

Shaun Pearson (two), Anthony Church (two), Danny Davidson (two), Ryan Semple and Miles Hunter also socred in that 9-0 victory.
