BEN Fairclough hopes he can continue to be Boston United’s lucky charm - by grabbing the winner at Worcester City today.
The pacy striker has netted three goals for the Pilgrims so far this season.
And every time he has found his name on the scoresheet, United have won the match.
“I’m hoping that carries on. In the last three games I’ve scored we’ve won,” he said.
“If I can score in every game left this season then it’ll be a good one for us.”
Fairclough’s first goal for United was a matchwinning header against Blue Square Bet North leaders Hyde United, as the Pilgrims dumped them out of the FA Trophy in December.
The forward’s finish made it 2-1.
That score was replicated when Fairclough nodded home the stoppage-time winner at the BSBN clash at Corby Town in January.
And his third match-winning goal was a 20-yard striker as Boston beat Gloucester 2-0 last saturday, Tom Ward wrapping things up with a second-half header/
