Shane Clarke will make his first start in six matches as Boston United face Brackley this afternoon.

The midfielder returns to the starting line-up following the late withdrawal of skipper Adam Chapman.

It will also be Clarke’s first involvement in three matches.

He is the only change from the side which beat Salford City 2-0 last weekend.

The Pilgrims have a good record at St James’ Park, having won on their last two visits and winning three of their four league contests in Brackley.

However, the promotion-chasing Saints recorded a 3-2 success against United at the Jakemans Stadium in November, powering into an early 3-0 lead before holding off a late onslaught from the home side.

Kick off at St James’ Park will be at 3pm.
