Defender Aziz Deen-Conteh says he is desperate to help Boston United climb the National League North table.

The 22-year-old left back made his debut during Tuesday’s 4-1 defeat to Solihull Moors, also featuring in the weekend’s victory over Curzon Ashton after arriving on a month’s loan from Port Vale.

“I’m here to play games and to help the club get forward,” said Deen-Conteh.

“I want minutes under my belt, but results every week are the most important thing.

“I’m just here to help the team, not just myself.”

Deen-Conteh was born in Sierra Leone but has represented England at under 19 level.

He has also previously been on the books of Chelsea and Greek side Ergotelis.

“I thought the second performance was much better,” he said on Saturday.

“Now we have to keep on winning.”
