Dennis Greene has solved his left back headache by signing defender Ben Gordon.

The 25-year-old has joined Boston United from National League Woking, signing a deal to keep him at the Jakemans Stadium until the end of the season.

With Courtney Wildin and Jason St Juste both called up to represent their countries in the upcoming Caribbean Cup qualifiers, United looked to be without a left back for their home clash with Worcester City on October 8.

Gordon started out at Chelsea and has played for the likes of Kilmarnock, Scunthorpe United and Colchester United.

He is expected to be eligible to feature against Altrincham on Saturday.

St Juste will represent St Kitts and Nevis in their qualifiers against Haiti and French Guiana while Wildin’s Antigua and Barbuda will face Curacao and Puerto Rico.
