SAM Craven is training with Boston United’s first team this week.
The former Worksop Town defender turned out for the table-topping Pilgrims’ reserves in their 3-1 victory over Ruston Sports on Saturday.
And he is hoping to be offered the place in the United squad left vacant following the release of Kern Miller.
Manager Jason Lee said: “Somebody played for the reserves and he’ll train with us on Tuesday (tonight) and Thursday.
“He could be another option for us going forward.”
