Chris Dickinson believes that Boston United’s squad have all the ingredients needed to be challenging at the top of the Vanarama North table.
The striker has played in all three of the Pilgrims’ contests so far this campaign, after joining the club just two days before the start of the season.
But after clicking with his new teammates he believes that United’s current second-place standing in the league table is more than deserved by the Pilgrims.
He said: “I don’t see why we can’t be up there.
“If you keep aiming high then you can go anywhere in this league.”
After scoring on his debut, the 2-1 home victory against Barrow, Dickinson said he instantly took to his new surroundings at the Jakemans Stadium.
“It’s perfect. The fans and everyone have been brilliant to me,” he added.
“They kept us going - and that’s all we need.
“When you play with lads who are as good at football as some of the lads here are then you just click straight away in the football sense.
“If you get on well on the pitch then you get to know each other off the pitch too.
“They’re a great set of lads and it’s been great meeting them.”
