Kaine Felix is looking forward to making the step-up to Conference North football, but the teenager accepts he is still learning his trade.
The fast-paced winger first played under Dennis Greene at St Neots Town three years ago.
And after impressing on trial, the 19-year-old has signed a two-year a deal.
Felix may well have impressed in pre-season so far, but he knows he may have to bide his time for regular league action.
He said: “It’s a big step up, but it’s a great experience.
“I’ll watch the boy’s from the bench sometimes and analyse them from the touchline - that will help me improve my game.
“If I can come on then hopefully I can change the game.
“I’m really looking forward to the season.”
