Boston United struck five past Guiseley as they cruised to victory at York Street in the Conference North.

The Pilgrims got the scoring under way after just seven minutes when striker Kaine Felix found the net after the visiting keeper could only parry Nicky Walker’s shot.

Five minutes before half-time Mark Jones made it 2-0 to ensure United went into the break with a cushion. The front man latched onto a poor back pass to slot home.

Just six minutes into the second half Dayle Southwell got himself onto the score sheet stabbing under the onrushing keeper.

Southwell found the net again after 69 minutes - a great flick from Jones putting him through on goal.

Gavin Rothery got one back for the visitors after 83 minutes.

But Dennis Greene’s men had the final say with Alex Simmons scoring on full time.
