Ben Gordon has been handed his debut as Boston United face Altrincham this afternoon.

The left back, signed in midweek after leaving National League Woking, is one of three changes to Dennis Greene’s starting XI.

Keeper Dion-Curtis Henry is back after parent club Peterborough United refused permission for him to feature in last week’s 2-1 FA Cup win at Kirby Muxloe.

Lamin Colley, who impressed from the bench in the last National League North win, the 3-2 success against Alfreton, also starts for the first time in eight matches, meaning Courtney Wildin, Michael Emery and Waide Fairhurst drop out.

Greene’s only previous encounter at the J. Davidson Stadium as Pilgrims boss came towards the end of the 2013-14 campaign, Boston hanging on to earn a goalless draw against the Robins, who went on to be promoted that season.

That result also stopped the rot as the two previous visits had seen United leave on the end of stinging 6-1 and 7-1 defeats for Jason Lee and Graham Drury respectively.

The Robins sit second-bottom of the table while Boston are unbeaten in four games.

Kick off will be at 3pm.
