Dayle Southwell says the match ball he claimed following Saturday’s hat-trick against Hyde will take pride of place at home.
The striker bagged a 25-minute treble to sink the Tigers.
And he will now place the ball alongside the one he earned following his hat-trick for Grimsby Town against Coalville in the FA Trophy last season.
“This will go straight with the other one,” Southwell said.
“They’re in my bedroom, I’m hoping to get a stand for them.
“The first one was my first professional hat-trick, but this one was in a league game and of great importance, so this is right up there.
“It feels absolutely great, I was buzzing the get the hat-trick and hopefully there’ll be a few more to come now.
“It was a relief. I hadn’t scored in three or four games and I needed that goal.
“When it came it was a very happy moment.”
Southwell’s quickfire treble has taken his season’s tally to 10 goals by mid-October.
And now he is daring to look beyond the 20-goal target he set himself before the start of the season.
“Double figures by October - I’ll take that all day every day,” he added.
“Hopefully, that’s on the way to 20, and even more.
“That (20 goals) is the first target, but if I can kick on and get more goals then hopefully more will come.”
Turning his attention to the club’s league form, Southwell added: “It’s all about consistency.
“Hopefully, we can put a run together now.
“The lads are great and the spirit’s good in the camp.
“I’m very happy I made the move to Boston.”
