Boston United are full of confidence going into this week’s double-header, says Michael Hollingsworth.

The Pilgrims host relegation-threatened Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday (KO 3pm) before travelling to face title hopefuls AFC Fylde on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm).

And the midfielder believes that Saturday’s 3-1 success at Hyde, which stretched the side’s run to three unbeaten contests, will put them in good stead.

“It’s just going to build confidence,” Hollingsworth said. “We’ll head back to training and we’ll build on that foundation.”

United won 3-2 at Bradford earlier this season, thanks to goals from Dayle Southwell (two) and Zak Mills, while Carl Piergianni (two) and Mills scored to end Fylde’s 14-match unbeaten run in November.

“Football’s unpredictable and you just have to keep going,” added Hollingsworth.
