Mark Jones is determined to re-open his Boston United goalscoring account.
The striker netted 14 times in 29 appearances during his first stint with the club, and now he has number 15 in his sights as the Pilgrims host Solihull Moors on Saturday (KO 3pm).
“It’s great to be back and, hopefully, I can continue scoring goals like I was doing before,” said the on-loan Spalding United forward.
“As a striker you get judged on goals. So that’s what I’ve got to do, your first thought is to get into the box and try to get a goal.
“Hopefully, on Saturday, if I get some more game time, off the bench or starting, then I want to do well for the team and get a goal in front of the crowd.
“It’d be a good feeling.”
Moors currently sit a place and a point behind the Pilgrims in eighth spot, but with a game in hand.
In-form Solihull have won their past three league fixtures, scoring 11 times along the way as they beat Chorley (3-1), Oxford City (4-1) and Bradford Park Avenue (4-1).
