Mark Jones wants to help guide Boston United into the Vanarama North’s play-off spots.
The striker would love to see the Pilgrims return to the division’s top five, after rejoining the club on loan from Spalding United.
“We want to win as many games as we can,” said Jones, whose one-month loan stay has an option to be extended to three.
“When I leave, hopefully I can do so with my head held high and, hopefully, the lads are in the play-offs or well up there.”
Jones is also refusing to rule out extending his stay beyond the initial three-months, if that is something both clubs can agree on.
“Why not?” he said when asked if he’s like to complete the season at the Jakemans Stadium.
“It’s a great club to be at.
“Playing back up the leagues again is where I want to be.
“It makes you a better player, so definitely, if that was an option, I don’t see why not.
“But that depends on how well I play.”
Before last night’s fixture (Gloucester v Solihull), United were two points behind fifth-placed Moors.
Jones has appeared in both Boston matches since his return.
