Kyle Dixon is being backed to make an instant impact at Boston United.
The midfielder has joined the Pilgrims on loan from Notts County.
And fellow Pilgrim Jamie McGhee - who has spent parts of the season playing alongside Dixon at Grantham Town - reckons his pal can make his mark at York Street.
“I rate Kyle,” McGhee told The Standard.
“He’s a very talented and gifted player. He doesn’t mind a tackle and he will add bite to the midfield.
“Kyle’s a player who doesn’t mind getting stuck in, but he has a good footballing brain as well.”
Both Dixon and McGhee could be in line to make their United debuts against Solihull Moors on Saturday (KO 3pm).
