BOSTON United booked their place in the final of the Lincs Senior Shield after a penalty shoot-out victory at Stamford on Monday.
The Pilgrims reached spotkicks after a Marc Newsham hat-trick, taking his tally of competitive goals for the season up to five already.
Stamford took a 2-0 half-time lead as Andrew Hall converted a fifth-minute penalty after being felled by Joe French, and Greg Smith slotted home in the 36th minute.
After the break, Newsham grabbed an 11-minute treble.
With an hour on the clock he nodded home an Ian Ross free kick, before tapping home the equaliser three minutes later.
Newsham put Boston ahead from the penalty spot after Mark Jones was tripped by Robbie Maddox.
Pilgrims old boy Ricky Miller levelled with four minutes to go, but United were more decisive from 12 yards.
After Newsham, Ross, Ben Milnes and Mark Jones all converted, former Boston forward Gary King blazed over, allowing Kern Miller to slot the Pilgrims into the final.
