BOSTON United chairman David Newton says he is ‘satisfield’ with the outcome of yesterday’s tribunal.
The Pilgrims wanted compensation for defender Shaun Pearson and midfielder Anthony Church, after the pair moved on to Grimsby Town in the summer.
The duo were out of contract. But because they were under the age of 24, United were entitled to a pay-off from the Mariners, if they could prove they played a part in the pair’s development.
The club received a fee from Grimsby which has been undisclosed.
Speaking after returning from the hearing at Wembley, Newton said: “I think satisfied is the best phrase.”
