Graham Drury wants to pick up his first three points as Boston United boss against Oxford City tomorrow, stating: “We’ll always have a go at winning.”

The former Stamford boss made his debut in the Pilgrims dug-out on Boxing Day, watching his side draw 1-1 with Corby Town.

Now he wants to taste victory.

“We’ll always have a go at winning, that’s how my sides work,” he said.

“We deserved the three points against Corby.

“The lads will perhaps not play as well and get three points, let’s hope that’s against Oxford.”

City beat United 4-2 back in their September Blue Square Bet North clash at Court Place Farm.

Now United are looking for revenge.

But in order to do so, Drury says his team need to be at their best.

He added: “The work rate and commitment has to be there every week.

“If the players show desire we’ll win more than we lose.”

Kick off is at 3pm.
