Boston United will host Nottingham Forest in a pre-season friendly at the Jakemans Stadium.

The Championship side will send their under 21s squad to Lincolnshire for the warm-up match, to be played on Wednesday, July 22.

The two sides met in a friendly 12 months ago, with the Garibaldi Reds winning 4-1, thanks to goals from Jorge Grant (two), Sancidino Silva and Ilias Polimos.

Scott Garner netted United’s response.

The match will kick off at 7pm.

Former Crystal Palace midfielder Jamie Fullarton has recently assumed control of the under-21s at the City Ground.
