An under-strength Boston United side are preparing to take on Solihull Moors in the FA Trophy.

With captain Scott Garner suspended and striker John Sands missing the trip to the West Midlands through illness, plus Jones brothers Mark and Richard both on the treatment table, hopes of progressing against the National League North’s second-placed side will have to be done the hard way.

The unavailability of Sands and Garner saw Kaine Felix and Ryan Robbins return to the starting line-up following last weekend’s 2-1 victory at Alfreton.

Jay Rollins also returned to the bench following his lay off with an ankle injury.

Solihull earned a 4-1 victory over United in August at the Jakemans Stadium.

The two sides will also line-up against one another back at Damson Park next Saturday in league action.

UNITED: Ravas, Marrs, Mills, Piergianni, McEvoy, Felix, Richards, Roberts, Blinco, Southwell, Robbins; Subs: Rollins, Dixon, Johnson, Alexander.
