BOSTON United fans could be forgiven for not recognising half their side tonight - as up to five players could be making their York Street debuts for the Pilgrims.
That famous chant of ‘who are ya?’ may never have been needed anymore than this evening as the five loanees will all be unfamiliar faces to supporters who have not taken in the club’s last two away matches.
But they will all be itching to become quickly acquainted as United host Solihull Moors tonight (KO 7.45pm).
Gainsborough Trinity defenders Darren Williams and Mark Robinson have both featured in the Pilgrims’ last two matches - a defeat at Stalybridge Celtic and Saturday’s cracking comeback at Workington.
Kevin Austin - another defender, on loan from Darlington - also turned out on Saturday.
However, two new young signings could be making their club debuts at some stage this evening.
Left sided player Jamie Green, 21, and 18-year-old Grant Darley, a midfielder, have both arrived on loan from Rotherham United.
Also hoping to pull on the amber and black tonight is Adam Boyes who, despite already making four United appearances, has only turned out once at the Jakeman’s Stadium so far.
