BOSTON United say they are ready for a ‘battle’ as Corby Town arrive at the Jakemans Stadium tonight (KO 7.45pm).
The Pilgrims -boosted by Saturday’s 2-1 FA Trophy success over league leaders Hyde – are eager for three points in this re-arranged Blue Square Bet North clash.
But manager Lee Canoville knows his charges will have to fight hard.
He said: “Corby have started the season well, they’re a big physical side.
“They’ll get the ball into the box and we’ll have to deal with that.
“It’s a difficult challenge.
“We’ll have to fully focus as it’s a massive game.”
The Steelmen – who have ex-Pilgrim Lee Beeson in their ranks - currently sit in eighth place, four places above United in the standings.
But victory tonight could see the Pilgrims reduce Corby’s lead to a solitary point.
United’s Danny Sleath said: “It will be a completely different game (to Saturday’s match), they don’t pass it like Hyde.
“But we’re full of confidence and hoping to battle for the three points.”
