Phil Watt wants swift revenge against Harrogate Town.

The Boston United defender made his debut as the Pilgrims slumped to a 2-1 home defeat to Town on January 8.

But now Watt is looking for a turnaround as the Pilgrims are set to travel to Wetherby Road on Saturday (KO 3pm).

“We want to get one back on them,” Watt told The Standard.

“We know how they play. Hopefully, we can step it up.

“We owe them one.

“Hopefully, we can get two clean sheets and two wins in a row.

“We want to move up the league.”

Chibuzor Chilaka scored a brace for Town at York Street in a game where the Pilgrims failed to get going.

However, Marc Newsham fired home a 90th-minute consolation.

Watt also believes United will be a different side to the one which lost to Harrogate, due to the signing of Anton Foster, who made his debut as United beat Colwyn bay 1-0 on Saturday.

Watt added: “We didn’t really get going last time.

“The effort was there but we lacked something.

“With Anton coming in we were really strong and broke the ball up a lot more.”
