Jay Rollins netted his second goal in as many games as Boston United earned a 2-2 draw at Rossington Main last night.

The Pilgrims trialist - who has previously turned out for Armthorpe Welfare - struck in the 86th minute to earn a share of the spoils.

Cameron Johnson put the hosts in front with less than 30 seconds played, only for Jamie McGhee to slot United level.

Shaun Pendleton’s 20-yard finish handed The Colliery the lead again nine minutes before the interval.

But it was that man Rollins who struck again, adding to Saturday’s goal against Boston Town.

The Pilgrims also saw ex-Nottingham Forest full back Julian Bennett play his first trial match for the club, while 15-year-old Harry Limb was handed a start.
