RYAN Semple will return to the Boston United side as the Pilgrims prepare to face rivals Boston Town this afternoon.

The United winger missed Tuesday’s 3-3 draw at Arnold Town after suffering a migraine.

However, he is expected to be involved at some stage today.

Pilgrims trialists Matt Hocking, Jamie Stevens and Alex Thompson will not feature at Tattershall Road this afternoon (KO 3pm), indicating they may not have a future at the Jakemans Stadium.

Also out of action is Marc Newsham.

The United striker is still suffering from injury, although he hopes this will be his last contest on the sidelines.

For United, Julian Joachim, Mickey Stones and Liam Parker will feature for the first time since signing deals with the club on Thursday night.

Fellow new recruit Kevin Holsgrove will make his first appearance in Boston as a Pilgrim after impressing at Arnold, where he scored one and created another.

For Martyn Lakin’s Poachers, ex-United players Alex Beck, Michael Wood, Shane Clamcy, Chris Wright and Danny Matson will all feature.

Striker Tom James, a former United academy player, may also get some time on the pitch.

Town are offering ‘kids for a quid’ entry for Saturday’s match.

Any under 16s entering Tattershall Road accompanied by a paying adult can watch the match for £1.
