DANNY Sleath reckons his new Boston United teammates are looking the part.
The Pilgrims play their first pre-season friendly of the new campaign tomorrow night at Arnold Town, manager Jason Lee’s former club.
And after four training sessions, Sleath has given the thumbs up to new signings Chris Hall and Jordan Fairclough, plus Mikel Suarez and Kevin Austin, who have played alongside the midfielder during previous spells at York Street.
“I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far,” Sleath told The Standard.
“The lads look up for it.
“Jordan and Hally both look like good players and we know what Kevin can do.
“Mikel’s back with us and he wants to score goals.
“We haven’t got a full squad signed up yet, but if we replace the players we’ve lost with more lads who are just as good then the play-offs will be a minumum for us this year.”
