Boston United Reserves booked their place in the final of the Lincolnshire League Challenge Cup - following a tense 10-9 penalty shoot-out victory.
The Pilgrims were trailing 2-0 to Gainsborough Town at the interval, with Craig Lill and Joshua Nichol finding the net.
But a quickfire brace from Charley Sanders - on 55 and 57 minutes - earned a stalemate at the end of the 90 minutes.
Lewis Sturman then fired home the match-wining penalty - his second successful conversion of the shoot-out - to send Martyn Bunce’s team into the final.
UNITED: Vince, Thompson, Sturman, Gascoigne, Price, Ogden, Eyett (Dawson 72), Elliott, Gardner, Sanders, Nuttell; Subs (not used): Delahoy, Melville.
