BOSTON Town have snapped up three loan signings.

Goalkeeper Michael Emery and defenders Travis Munn and Jason Field will join from Boston United, easing the Poachers’ injury worries.

With regular stoppers Chris Wright and Ricky Lovelace injured and unavailable, Town boss Ian Dunn began the season with Wyberton keeper Peter Cook between the sticks.

But despite him giving a good account of himself, Dunn has moved to bring in Emery, who played for Blue Square Bet North Gainsborough Trinity last season.

Field and Munn are both young defenders who United boss Jason Lee wants to hand match experience to before they can establish themselves as regular members of his team.

With Jack Smith and Craig Parker recently leaving the club, plus the unavailability of Matt Hocking and injury sustained by Luke Wilson, Town were also in need of some defensive options.
