PILGRIMS trialists will be given their first chance to impress in match action tonight.

Boston United kick off their pre-season campaign at manager Jason Lee’s former club Arnold Town (KO 7.45pm).

Among those training with the Pilgrims - and eager to earn contracts at York Street - are striker Julian Joachim plus defenders Matt Hocking, Jamie Stevens and Liam Parker.

All four are born and bred Yellowbellies who have previously turned out for the Pilgrims.

Mikel Suarez, who agreed to re-join Boston after moving on midway throuigh last term, should also be involved, as will Tom Ward, who was promoted to the first team squad from the reserves.
