Dennis Greene says his Boston United side got what they deserved following their 5-2 defeat at AFC Fylde.
The result sees the Pilgrims drop to sixth in the National League North.
“We deserved nothing,” Greene confessed.
“We came here for a massive game and we didn’t show up.
“We asked them from kick off to get in their faces and we’ve defended from the edge of our box.
“If you give away possession then we’ll concede chances and that’s what we’ve done.”
Greene also said he hopes that Dayle Southwell’s hamstring in jury will only sideline him for ‘a couple of weeks’.
The manager also defended Cameron Johnson, who was handed a straight red for a challenge on Matty Hughes.
Greene was adamangt the substitute won the ball in his challenge.
