Boston United have agreed terms with a defender.
However, manager Dennis Greene is refusing to name the player until he signs on the dotted line.
“We’ve agreed deals with two players,” said Greene, who has now revealed one of those was striker Ricky Miller.
“But until we can arrange to get our secretary (general manager John Blackwell) out to meet up with them they haven’t signed.
“Until that happens, I’m not going to release their names. Because if they don’t sign it makes us look silly.”
The defender is believed to be a left back, who Greene has been tracking for some time.
Former Luton Town, Newport County and Rushden and Diamonds forward Ryan Charles has also been linked to United, after his former club Hemel Hempstead Town wrote he was Boston bound on their website.
