Bull returns to Boston Town as Jones takes manager’s role

BOSTON Town’s search for a permanent manager will not begin until the summer.

Reserve team boss Phil Jones will step up to run first team affairs for the remainder of the season, beginning with the New Year’s Eve home clash against Thrapston.

Midfielder Lori Borbely has taken charge of the club’s previous two matches, following the resignation of former boss Martyn Lakin.

Meanwhile, veteran striker Gary Bull has returned to the Tattershall Road club.

The 45-year-old forward, who has scored 198 goals for Town, was previously released by Lakin earlier this season.
