DANNY Butterfield has won promotion to the Premier League – for a second time.
The Boston-born right back was part of the Southampton club which marked their return to the English top flight on Saturday, with a 4-0 victory over Coventry City.
Promotion ended the Saints’ seven-year absence from the top flight.
But this is nothing new to Butterfield – who has now earned four promotions.
His first came in 1999, when he helped Grimsby Town win the Division Two play-off final.
This was followed by a play-off final victory with Crystal Palace in 2004, helping the Eagles book their place in the Premier League.
After leaving Selhurst Park, Butterfield, 32, joined the Saints, helping them to consecutive promotions.
Last season’s elevation from League One – via the runners-up spot – was emulated 12 months later.
