A below-strength Boston Town side went down 3-1 at the Waterworks Field last night.

Desborough, who left Tattershall Road with a 2-1 UCL Premier victory in October, stormed into a 3-0 interval lead.

Town’s Josh Ford grabbed his 19th of the season from the penalty spot after the break.

Ar Tarn’s Richard Scott was sent off for the offence, and the hosts also had a further player dismissed later on.

But the Poachers - who were a patched up side due to illness, injury and unavailability - couldn’t get back into the contest.
