Boston Town leading scorer Josh Ford will join UCL Premier leaders Spalding United.
The Tulips made a seven-day approach for the hotshot, who has bagged 17 goals already this campaign.
And Poachers boss Nathan Collins said the striker has made his mind up to move back to his former club.
“Josh Ford is going to Spalding,” he said.
“He goes with our best wishes and we have four really good strikers at the club, so looking forward to the rest of the season.”
Tulips boss Pat Rayment told the Spalding Guardian: “Josh was at the club when I first arrived and was used at full back.
“He always told me he’d get goals if I put him up front, so I’m now offering him that chance.”
Ford was the Poachers’ top scorer last season 20 goals.
