It’s derby day and Boston Town are hoping to pull off a Christmas cracker against Yellowbelly rivals Sleaford Town.

Nathan Collins’ Poachers host their rivals at Tattershall Road today (KO 3pm).

And although there will be no love lost on the pitch, Sleaford boss Kris Jones still took time out to praise the work Collins has done pulling the Poachers out of the UCL Premier’s bottom two.

He said: “Nathan Collins has gone into Boston and done a terrific job.

“Their results have really picked up and Nathan’s done a terrific job of turning them around.

“We won’t approach this match any differently to other fixtures, we’re confident of the result, but both managers will be looking at the game thinking its winnable.”

Striker Liam Tunstall, who left Town for Sleaford recently, will no be able to play due to the terms of his move between the two clubs.
