Boston Town’s hopes of an FA Cup giant killing were ended at the Walks yesterday.
Nathan Collins’ side were comprehensively beaten by King’s Lynn, the 7-0 victors taking their place in the hat for the draw on Monday.
The Linnets sit two divisions higher than the Poachers in the footballing ladder, and the hosts showed their superiority as Steve Spriggs handed them a 25th-minute lead.
Sam Mulready also netted in the first half, before completing his hat-trick after the break.
Further goals came from Jackson Ramm, David Bell and Jake Jones.
Town had Daniel Barrett sent off in the second half after he tangled with Mulready.
