TWO late goals saw Boston Town suffer at 2-0 defeat at King’s Lynn last night.

The young Poachers side held off the title favourites for 75 minutes in Norfolk.

But two late breaches saw the Linnets claim three points, and Town suffer their second consecutive UCL Premier campaign.

Robbie Harris made the breakthrough for Lynn and Stephen Spriggs compounded their woes in stoppage time.

Martyn Lakin’s Town began the campaign with victory at Newport Pagnell and, on Saturday, earned an FA Cup extra-preliminary round victory at Glossop North End.

But they are yet to earn anything from their midweek derbies, going down 2-1 against Holbeach United last Tuesday and being pipped by the Linnets last night.
