Sleaford Town boss Glen Maddison hopes a dressing room dressing down will inspire his side to get back to winning ways.
After three consecutive victories, Town have lost their past two matches - going down 2-1 to both Boston Town and Yaxley.
But it was the manner of the victories which caused such frustration in the dug-out.
And after some angry words from assistant manager Allan Ross following Saturday’s defeat to the Cuckoos, Maddison believes there could be a reaction.
He explained: “It was frustrating that we lost both games in the same way, a free kick into the box which was knocked down for someone to score.
“After the Boston game I touched on it and thought we’d cut that out, but the same happened against Yaxley.
“The lads will be hoping it won’t happen again, they don’t want to see Rossy in that kind of mood.
“I had a go in the dressing room, but he really blew his top and the lads have realised what they need to do.”
Sleaford are hoping to get another three UCL Premier points when they host Desborough on Saturday (KO 3pm).
Opponents Ar Tarn sit in seventh spot, but have not played since December 15, due to postponements.
Maddison added: “They’ve signed some new players since we last played them and I think they’ve improved.
“They haven’t played for a while so maybe that could bite them on the backside a bit?”
The two rivals drew 2-2 at Waterworks Field earlier this campaign, with Liam Tunstall bagging a brace.
Kris Jones scored from the halfway line for Town in the defeat to Boston, while Ryan Oliver netted against Yaxley.
