MARTYN Lakin has told his Poachers to go out and put on a show tonight.

Boston Town are away at King’s Lynn in United Counties League Premier Division this evening (KO 7.45pm).

And the Town boss believes that playing in front of the bumper crowd the Linnets get each week will only spur his charges on.

“They get good gates there, but that won’t be a problem for us,” Lakin told The Standard.

“I think it will be good for us to play in front of a crowd of 600.

“It’s a chance to go out and prove to everyone how good our players are.”

The Poachers will be eager to add to Saturday’s FA Cup success against Glossop North End by picking up league points tonight.

And Lakin believes that his team are showing good character after a tough start to the season.

“Newport Pagnell away, a derby against Holbeach, and FA Cup game and then away at Lynn - you couldn’t really ask for a tougher start than that,” he added.

“But our team has got strong character and that’s what we’re showing so far.”
