Boston CC’s Second XI were undone by Will Charlesworth’s unbeaten 127.

The Heckington opener proved the difference as his side beat the Mayflower men by 141 runs in their South Lincs and Border League Division One contest.

The hosts finished on 261-6, with wickets taken by Sam Gilding (three), Charlie Ward, Callum Moses and Gareth Epton.

Moses (20), Ward (12), Steve Elleray (12), Epton (10) and Peter Ward (10 not out) helped Boston to 120.

Boston Thirds lost by nine wickets at Long Sutton Seconds in the SLBL Division Two.

Kartik Kippy (28) and Sean Barnett (10) top scored as Boston were dismissed for 66.

Long Sutton posted 71 with one wicket falling, to Shaun Moore.

Boston’s Sunday Firsts earned a seven-wicket success at home to Lindum in the Lincoln and District League Premier Division.

Tom Baxter (46 not out), Matthew Poole (37) and Luke Gilding (23) helped Boston to 191-9.

In reply, Lindum could only muster 192-3, with wickets being taken by Gilding (two) and Ricky Drury.
