Boston Town’s UCL Premier clash against Deeping Rangers was abandoned last night due to an injury to visiting player Scott Bogusz.

The Rangers man was taken to hospital after injuring his neck following a tackle.

But shortly after midnight, he tweeted out a picture of himself in a neck brace, along with the message: “Just got out of hospital been lucky as no fracture or break. Thanks for all the messages of support.”

Town midfielder Ollie Pinner was the man who collided with Bogusz.

He also took to Twitter to wish his opponent well, writing: “My best wishes go out to Scott tonight from @DeepingRangers hope you have a speedy recovery.”

The scores were level at 1-1 last night when the official decided to abandon the contest.

A rescheduled date is yet to be set.
