New boss Frost takes the reins as Boston Town host the Croms

Gary Frost will take charge of Boston Town for the first time this afternoon as the Poachers host Huntingdon Town.

There will be plenty on the line for the incoming boss as defeat would see the side drop into the United Counties League Premier Division’s bottom two.

However, victory could see the Poachers climb as high as 16th if results went their way elsewhere.

Town currently sit 20th, a place and a point above the Croms.

Although former Wyberton boss Frost was named as the club’s new manager on Monday, he was unable to take charge of Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Fen rivals Wisbech Town.

Town are currently unbeaten in their past three matches, having beaten Harrowby United 4-1 in the Lincs Senior Trophy before fighting back from 2-0 down to earn draws against both Leicester Nirvana and Wisbech in the league.

Huntingdon put a run of six straight defeats behind them on Saturday as they beat Wellingborough 1-0.

Kick off at the DWB Stadium will be at 3pm.
