The Boston Saturday Football League kicks off this weekend.

Although not all the teams will take part in the opening week of the season, there are matches taking place in all four of the divisions.

Five of the eight league newcomers will make their debuts.

They are Sleaford Colts, Eastern European FC, Friskney Reserves, Railway Athletic and Boston Athletic FC.

However, three further teams - FC Boston, Sibsey FC and AFC Tetford Reserves - will wait to play their first fixtures at a later date.

Meanwhile, defending champions Wyberton have moved up to the Lincolnshire League.

This means that their place in the top flight will be taken by Wyberton Reserves.

Fixtures for Saturday, August 23 (KO 2.30pm):

Taylors Garages Premier Division - Billinghay Athletic v Spilsby Town (R. Crozier), Ruskington Rovers v Swineshead Institute (S. Fisher).

Taylors Peugeot Division One - Fosdyke v Sleaford Colts (A. Murray).
