Boston Town’s walking wounded will be in action at Desborough tonight.

The UCL Premier rivals will face one another at Waterworks Field (KO 7.45pm), but the Poachers will be patched up.

Defender Michael Wood - who was controversially sent off in the 2-1 home defeat to Ar Tarn earlier this season - has been playing through the pain barrier, while Lori Borbely was involved in Saturday’s 5-4 victory over Stewarts & Lloyds Corby, despite suffering a virus.

“We’ll have to patch up Woody and hope he can play,” said boss Ian Dunn.

“Although we hope Lori will be fully fit.

“We’re down to the bare bones.”

Defender Ryan Leggett will be unavailable due to injury while work commitments mean attacker Callum Stocks is unable to make the trek to Northamptonshire.
