Boston Town have questioned the ‘bizarre’ decision to make them play their first three league matches away from home.
The Poachers will begin their UCL Premier campaign at AFC Kempston Rovers on August 9 (KO 3pm).
This will be followed by further away contests at both Peterborough Northern Star (August 12, 7.45pm) and Wellingborough Town (August 23, 3pm).
Boston’s first competitive fixture at the DWB Stadium will be the FA Cup contest against Walsham Le Willows (August 16, 3pm) and their first home league match will not come until August 30 - a full three weeks after the start of the season - when they host Long Buckby (3pm).
Boss Nathan Collins said: “I’m not quite sure why we’re playing our first three away from home.
“It’s not ideal and sometimes you get these decisions that seem bizarre.”
