Saturday football is set to return after hiatus

AFTER a three-week break, the Boston Saturday Football League resumes at the weekend.

Teams from the divisions will be in county cup, cup and league action.

Kirton Town will travel to Horncastle looking for a place in the semi-final of the Mason Bros Lincolnshire Junior Cup, while teams will also compete in the Main Ridge Take Away Reserve Cup as well as fulfilling league fixtures.

FIXTURES for January 7:

Mason Bros Lincs Junior Cup, quarter-finals (KO 1.30pm): Horncastle Town v Kirton Town (A. Jones), Skegnes Utd v Pinchbeck Utd (M. Brader).

Taylors Garages Premier Division (KO 2pm): Old Dons v Skegness Town Res (R. Crozier), Old Leake v Woodhall Spa Utd (S. Mason), Pointon v Billinghay Ath (J. Truman), Swineshead Inst v Tavern Colts (P. Revell), Wyberton v Spilsby Town (S. Daley).
