BOSTON Town boss Matt Hocking was left ‘gutted’ by his side’s defeat at Shepshed Dynamo.

For the second time in five days, the Poachers lost out to a 90th-minute strike.

And to rub salt into Town’s wounds, striker Josh Ford will be handed a three-match ban for his red card in the UCL premier match.

“I’m gutted,” said Hocking.

“I don’t ever like losing, but on Saturday night I was like a dummy – just thinking about the game.

“We lost on Saturday, and to Deeping (Rangers) with last-minute goals.

“I honestly think we deserved a point in both matches.”

Ford and Ollie Pinner both put the Poachers ahead, only for Shepshed to respond both times.

After the interval, Ford was sent off for throwing the ball at an opponent, who he claimed shoved him in the face during a tussle for possession.

Dynamo then won the points at the death.
