Boston Town returned to UCL Premier action with a narrow defeat in a nine-goal thriller at Sleaford Town.
The Poachers - who had Lori Borbely sent off - fought back from 3-1 down to level at 4-4, but the hosts claimed the points with 17 minutes to go.
Scot Coupland’s seventh-minute penalty was saved, but the Sleaford man tucked home the rebound.
Ex-Poacher Liam Tunstall doubled the advantage at Eslaforde Park before Jack Wightwick pulled Boston back into the game.
Tunstall rnetted again to make it 3-1 to Sleaford but Wightwick pounced again before half time.
Boston were back level when Seb Firman put the ball in his own net two minutes after the re-start, before Borbely received his marching orders for dissent.
Sleaford regained the lead thanks to Coupland, but the Poachers weren’t ready to lie down and Alex Beck made it 4-4.
But the matchwinning goal arrived in the 73rd minute as Coupland completed his hat-trick.
