Boston Town manager Ian Dunn believes new Boston United boss Graham Drury will prove a success at York Street.

Dunn knows all about the new Pilgrims boss, having played under him at Harrowby in the United Counties League Premier Division.

“If you want someone who’ll get the best out of the players then you’ve got the right man,” Dunn told The Standard.

“People may be sceptical at first but he’s definitely the right man.”

Dunn also knows that Drury won’t stand for any slacking, either in training or on the turf.

He continued: “He’s got two years’ experience at this level and no player will get an easy ride. He demands everything from his players.

“If you don’t give that you’ll be on your way.”
